YI CAMP 18 DEC--------21 DEC 2006
gggggggggKEEP THE FAITH
Ok next event but shall not blog bout IKEA coz had blog it before already so going to blog bout the Camp as i am going in order of the event happening........Camp was very great did not regret going for it though i dislike camp alot but should be due to MT that i am use to stay out for long time of home and does not miss hme ba.........The camp theme was 'KEEP THE FAITH" it was a good and well plan camp nothing went wrong except that there is spiritual warfare here and there shall start with the first day till the last day.....
DAY 1
Met the cell at SP instead of Dover station as i was freaking late coz i forgot my things and went hme to get it so was late by 1/2 hr had lunch together before reporting to campsite....my tribe colour is RED and the name is *Drum roll pls* JOSEPH , basically the Joseph tribe is made up of the whole Nissi two cells and one of Nissi one cell which was June's sister the cell ba.........for first day was practising cheers and doing ice breaker and the cheer i like most is the "My Hump" cheer was so nice and style sia.........had shower time from 4-5 and the guys from NissiCheryl was like huh serious ar coz there is service at night and we are going to sweat so had a shower and wore back the same shirt then the session was so good man with all the effect and there is a countdown before the start of svr and was so cool , awesome , fun , nice and everything that refers to something good and nice. Paul Geerling was a good preacher man he is so annointed by God that in all things he had prepare for sermon hit into my life and God spoke alot to me everyday and even i learn alot of things..........he is also very sensitive to God coz he can always feel wat the Holy Spirit wanted him to do
DAY 2
Did not sleep much for the nite coz it was the first nite and the air-con was freaking cold even at the temperature of 22 is like my hse the 16 sia........day 2 actually had outdoor activities but then as it was raining so we had indoor activities in the hall instead was very fun the whole day and sermon spoke to me bout partnering with God to do all things and after all i am still man and my power is limited but then he also told me that all the while i am relying on myself instead of him and thus all this while i am failing and falling back again then during svr was very sleepy sia had to depend on Brendan's warhead to keep awake as it was sour then had soccer during our shower time and so we were late for dinner as we had our shower like only 15-30 min juz before the time we should meet for dinner then God also spoke alot to me
DAY 3
Day 3 is one of the most fun day.....had outdoor activities and was so fun sia...especially when u are barefooted stepping on the mud and it was so cooling on a hot day.....saw the greatest miracle which is the are we were playing was hot and sunny but it was all dark cloud all around and we were in the middle where its sunny really thank God for that coz by Faith we book 8 buses and even had everything planned out nicely.........the best part of the game was during the tug-o-war though we lost but we almost won with a final pull but then at least we did our best and some even suffer injury like rope burn and some even got abrasion like me i suffered abrasion on my finger and oh yeah the mud was also another fun part coz it was so cooling on your feet especially i am wearing a black shirt under a blasting sun heat and my back is like a iron board sia no need to heat up iron can iron the shirt liao its like burning........and for the first time in like months and/or years i see star in Singapore........during the nite while doing debrief , we were doing at the netball court where we began to see the star above us and then Cheryl decide to lye down and do debrief so everyone lay down forming a circle with our head the feeling is so nice and it feel so like in Thailand for me coz in Thailand we see alot of stars andbefore that we had a short Team-Sum gathering and got a Christmas present from Calvin and Karen..........Thanx guy for the present if u are reading this........Oh yeah the sermon was special for that nite as we had two time praise and worship in one service before and after.....Then Pastor Paul did a spiritual exercise with us and imagine us meeting God and having a talk with him one to one........telling him our dreams and fear.......for dreams i ask him if watever he said is true coz durgin Radical Conference if u all still remember got one part asking who want to be a pastor.....i had this sound in me saying go forward..................forward at first i tot it was only a sudden urge but i was wrong coz a sudden urge will be gone after a while but now the feeling to work in a church is still there and is getting stronger but God told me that when the time come i will noe wat his plan is and tell me to study now.........well wat to do then for fear is that i am scared something will happen to my grandma and dad i tol God that if my grandma were to die now i will lose my mind of wat to do i will be so lost then i also told God that nothing muz happen to my Dad if not i would also be loss but God told me not to be worry and now most importantly the Gospel muz be shared to them and so this is how it goes and i learn this phrase which is very good "Dun ask wat God can do for you , but ask wat u can do for God"
DAY 4
Was a short day though Joseph tribe did not win any prize but we are still champion coz we persevere on with a never-say-die spirit and i respect that but we are still champion in Christ played soccer after breaking of camp and was so fun sia but best is still on the third day after outing coz we did not want to bath first so we played soccer and Caleb ended game in less then 15 sec and another one was ended in less then 30 sec by me.....actually we could have won one more match by the back-kick penalty but Carlos go hop and block out the ball if not it would have score sia but nvm
Luckily me and Gab the throat was cultivated out by the CCA so we could go all out and Praise and Worship God and even shouting the cheer without losing our voice hehe
